IPTV Guide: Set Up IPTV on Every Device

Open Settings, then My Fire TV, then About, select your device name and press OK seven times to unlock Developer Options. Install the orange Downloader app from the Appstore, then turn it on under Developer Options, Install Unknown Apps.

TiviMate isn’t in the Amazon Appstore. Open Downloader, enter the code 272483 (or tivimate.com/apk), press Go, then select Install and open TiviMate.

Select Add Playlist.

Choose Xtream Codes (recommended) or M3U playlist.

Enter your server URL, username and password, select Next and wait while TiviMate loads your channels.

Using an M3U link? Add the EPG (XMLTV) link from your email in the settings to fill the TV guide.

Open Downloader, type kodi.tv/download in the address field and select Go.

Select Android, then ARMV7A (32BIT), and choose Install when your Fire TV asks.

Open Kodi and go to Add-ons, Install from repository, PVR clients, PVR IPTV Simple Client, then select Install.

Select Configure, set Location to Remote path (Internet address), paste your M3U link, then paste your EPG link in the EPG settings.

Restart Kodi. Your channels appear under TV, with the guide.

Open the Google Play Store from the home screen, search for TiviMate and select Install. On a phone or computer you can also send it to your TV from TiviMate on Google Play.

Open TiviMate and select Add Playlist.

Choose Xtream Codes (recommended) or M3U playlist.

Enter your server URL, username and password, then select Next.

Wait while TiviMate downloads your channel list.

Using an M3U link? Paste the EPG link from your email in the settings and set it to refresh every 24 hours.

Open the Google Play Store, search for Smarters Pro (the current name of IPTV Smarters Pro), pick the one by Tech Smarters and select Install. Here it is on Google Play.

Open the app and accept the terms.

Choose Login with Xtream Codes API, or Load Your Playlist or File/URL for an M3U link.

Enter your username, password and server URL exactly as they appear in your welcome email. With an M3U link, paste the whole link instead.

Select Add User and wait 30 to 60 seconds for your channels to load.

For smoother 4K, turn on Hardware Acceleration in the player settings.

Open the Google Play Store, search for XCIPTV and install XCIPTV PLAYER by OTTRUN. Here it is on Google Play.

Open XCIPTV and allow access if Android asks.

Enter your server URL in the XC API URL field, then your username and password, and select Sign In.

Wait while XCIPTV loads live TV, movies, series and the guide.

Live TV, TV Guide, Movies and Series are on the home screen. Pick one and start watching.

Connect the TV to the internet and sign in to your Samsung account (needed to download apps).

Press Home, go to Apps, select the search icon and type Smarters Pro. Check the publisher is Tech Smarters Private Limited, then select Install. If it isn’t offered on your TV, follow the developer’s current Samsung instructions.

Select Open. If the app asks what kind of device it’s on, choose TV and Save, then accept the terms.

Add your service: choose Xtream Codes API and enter any name (such as "Home TV"), then your username, password and server URL. With an M3U link, choose M3U URL, give the playlist a name and paste the full link. Select Add User.

Wait while Live TV, Movies and Series load.

Press Home, go to Apps and search for Ib Player Pro (often called IBO Player Pro). Check the publisher is Kuailue-OTT-Team, then select Install.

Open it and write down the MAC address, Device Key and website shown on its first screen, exactly as shown.

On a phone or computer, open the website the app shows. For Ib Player Pro that’s iboproapp.com. Avoid look-alike sites that sell “activations”.

Choose Activate, enter the MAC address and Device Key and log in. New devices get a free trial of about 7 days, then a licence per TV.

Add your playlist on the website the app shows, with your M3U link or Xtream Codes details. If your version also has Add Playlist in the app, you can enter a playlist name and your M3U link there instead.

Select Reload if it’s shown, or close the app completely and open it again. Select your playlist if asked, then open Live, Movies or Series.

On a 2019 or newer Samsung TV, press Home, go to Apps, search for Smart IPTV and select Install. Older models install it differently: follow the developer’s Samsung instructions.

Open it and write down the MAC address it shows on screen.

On a phone or computer, open siptv.app/mylist to add your playlist. When the trial ends, activate the TV at siptv.app/activation.

Enter your TV’s MAC address and your full M3U link, complete any check the form asks for, then select Send.

Restart Smart IPTV on the TV. Your channels load from the playlist you added.

Press Home on the Magic Remote and open Settings. On newer TVs go to All Settings, General, Network (older ones have Network on the first settings screen). Connect by cable or Wi-Fi and check it says Connected to Internet.

Press Home, open the LG Content Store and select the search icon at the top right.

Search for Smarters Pro Original (the official IPTV Smarters app on LG) and select Install if it’s offered for your TV and region.

Open the app (select Launch in the store, or open it from your apps) and, if asked, choose to add a user or playlist.

Choose Login with Xtream Codes API, or Load Your Playlist or File/URL for an M3U link.

For Xtream Codes, enter any name, then your username, password and server URL, and select Add User. For an M3U link, enter the full link instead.

Open the live channels list and try a few channels.

Press Home, open the LG Content Store (LG Apps on newer TVs), search for Smart IPTV and select Install if it’s offered for your TV.

Open Smart IPTV and write down the MAC address or device ID it shows. Newer versions show a device ID instead of the TV’s MAC, so use what the app shows, not the address in the TV’s network settings.

On a phone or computer, open siptv.app/mylist to add your playlist. Activating the app is a separate step: follow its own activation instructions when the trial ends.

Enter the MAC address or device ID from the app and your full M3U link, complete any check the form asks for, then select Send.

Restart Smart IPTV, or press 0 on the remote to reload it, and your channels load from the playlist you added.

Open the App Store on your Apple TV, search for GSE Smart IPTV and install GSE SMART IPTV PRO (a paid app).

Open the app. The menu has Remote Playlists (for M3U links) and Xtream-codes API.

For Xtream Codes (recommended), open Xtream-codes API and select +. For an M3U link, use Remote Playlists and its add option instead.

Enter a playlist name, then the server URL, username and password from your welcome email, and select login.

Wait for the channels to load, then open the EPG to see the TV guide. If guide data is missing, add your EPG (XMLTV) link in the app’s EPG settings.

Open the App Store, go to Search and type Smarters Pro, then pick the one by Tech Smarters Private Limited (it needs tvOS 15.6 or later; on an older Apple TV, check whether Smarters Player Lite is offered in your App Store instead).

Select Get, then Open. Check the listing says Smarters Pro by Tech Smarters Private Limited.

Choose Player API (some versions call it Xtream Codes API). For an M3U link, choose M3U URL instead.

Enter a playlist name, then your username, password and server URL exactly as they appear in your welcome email, with a port number only if your email includes one.

Select Add Playlist (or Add User) and wait while Live TV, Movies and Series load.

Open the App Store, search for Smarters Pro, pick the one by Tech Smarters Private Limited and tap Get. It needs iOS or iPadOS 15.6 or later.

Open the app and tap the option to add a playlist. A new install usually goes straight there; if you already have a profile, tap Add Playlist on the Edit Profile screen.

Choose Player API (Xtream Codes API in some versions) if you have a server, username and password, or M3U URL if you have a playlist link.

Enter a playlist name and your details carefully, then tap Add Playlist (or Add User).

Wait while the playlist loads, then open Live TV, Movies or Series.

To watch on a TV, connect your iPhone or iPad and your Apple TV or AirPlay TV to the same Wi-Fi, play a channel, tap AirPlay and choose the TV. It works when the app and the stream support AirPlay.

Open the App Store, search for GSE Smart IPTV and buy GSE SMART IPTV PRO (developer droidvision, sold by GSE Technology). It’s a paid app.

Open the menu and tap Remote Playlists to add your M3U link. Using Xtream Codes instead? Tap Xtream Codes API in the menu, then + and enter your server URL, username and password.

Tap +, then Add M3U URL.

Enter a playlist name, paste the full M3U link from your welcome email and tap Add. Open the new playlist to load the channels.

For the TV guide, open EPG program guide, tap + and Add Remote EPG source, enter a name and your EPG (XMLTV) link, then tap Add.

Open the App Store, search for IPTVX by Bending X - FZE and tap Get. It’s free to download (some features are an in-app purchase) and needs iOS or iPadOS 16 or later.

Open the app’s menu and tap New playlist.

Choose Xtream (recommended) and enter a playlist name, then the server URL, username and password from your welcome email. With an M3U link, use the M3U option and paste the full link.

Tap Save and wait while the playlist downloads.

If a channel won’t play, or AirPlay is missing, open Settings, then Player, and choose Auto so IPTVX tries Apple’s own player first. AirPlay still depends on the stream.

Press Home on your Roku remote and open Streaming Store (Streaming Channels on older Roku software).

Search for IPTVplayerio, or find it on the Roku web store from your phone. Check the developer is X-PLAYERS.

Select Add app (or Add Channel), then open IPTVplayerio on your Roku. The app’s own activation is separate from your Mode IPTV subscription, so check its current terms.

Write down the MAC address IPTVplayerio shows. On a phone or computer, open iptvplayer.io/upload-playlist and select URL.

Enter that MAC address, a playlist name and your full M3U link from your welcome email, then select Upload Now.

Go back to IPTVplayerio on the Roku and let it load your playlist (reopen the app if needed), then pick a channel.

Put your phone and the Roku on the same Wi-Fi network. On the Roku, check the network name under Settings, Network, About.

iPhone or iPad: on an AirPlay-compatible Roku, turn AirPlay on under Settings, Apple AirPlay and HomeKit. Play the channel in your player app, tap AirPlay, select the Roku and enter the code if asked.

Android: allow Screen mirroring on the Roku (Settings, System, Screen mirroring). On a Samsung phone, open Quick Settings, tap Smart View, select the Roku and accept on the TV. Other phones use different names, and Google Pixel phones don’t support Roku mirroring.

Keep the phone plugged in for long sessions, since mirroring drains the battery.

For developers: enroll in Roku’s developer program first. On the Roku remote press Home three times, Up twice, then Right, Left, Right, Left, Right.

Select Enable installer and restart, accept the licence and set a developer password, then let the Roku restart. Note the address shown on your Roku.

On a computer on the same network, type that address into a browser (for example http://192.168.1.20) and sign in with the username rokudev and your developer password.

In the Development Application Installer, upload a Roku app package (.zip, not an Android APK), such as Roku’s Hello World sample, and select Install.

Check the app opens on the Roku. This only tests sideloading: it doesn’t add IPTV on its own, and a new sideloaded app replaces the previous one.

Open the Microsoft Store, search for MyIPTV Player, check the developer is VBFNetApps and select Get.

Open the app and allow network access if Windows asks.

Open Settings, then Add new playlist and EPG source.

Under Remote channel list, type a name, paste your M3U link and select Add remote list.

Under Program guide (EPG), type a name, paste your EPG (XMLTV) link and select Add EPG source.

Back in Settings, select your playlist (Remote: and its name) and select Refresh, then select your EPG source and refresh it too. Open the Channels tab.

Install Kodi from kodi.tv/download/windows or the Microsoft Store.

Go to Add-ons, Install from repository, PVR clients, PVR IPTV Simple Client, and select Install.

Open Configure, set the location to Remote path (Internet address) and paste your M3U link.

In the EPG settings, set Location to Remote path (Internet address), paste your EPG (XMLTV) link and select OK.

Restart Kodi. Once the playlist loads, your channels appear under TV.

Get VLC free from videolan.org, open it and choose Media, then Open Network Stream.

Paste your M3U link and select Play.

Open View, then Playlist, and double-click a channel to switch.

Go to Settings, Users and Accounts, then Linked Services, and select YouTube.

Select Link to open the account-linking screen.

Select Use Browser. A Google sign-in page opens.

Don’t sign in. Select Terms at the bottom of the page, then the Google link at the top of the Terms page.

On the Google search page, search for your web player’s website and open it.

Choose Xtream Codes (or M3U), enter a playlist name, then your server URL, username and password, and select Add playlist. This browser has no bookmarks, so repeat these steps next time.

Install Plex on the PS5 from the PlayStation Store.

On a computer that stays on, install Plex Media Server and sign in with the same Plex account. Live TV in Plex needs Plex Pass.

Plex doesn’t read M3U links directly, so on the same computer install Threadfin and add your M3U and EPG (XMLTV) links to it. Then in Plex open Settings, Live TV & DVR, select Set up Plex DVR, add Threadfin as the tuner and choose the XMLTV guide.

Let Plex scan and map the channels.

Open Plex on the PS5 with the same account and select Live TV. Your channels appear with the programme guide.

Press the Xbox button, open Store and search for MyIPTV Player (by Vbfnet Apps).

Select Get or Install, then open the app and go to Settings.

Choose Add new playlist and EPG source. Under Remote channel list, enter a name, paste your M3U link and select Add remote list.

Under Program guide (EPG), enter a name, paste your EPG (XMLTV) link and select Add EPG source.

Back in Settings, select your playlist and select Refresh, then select your EPG source and refresh it too. Open the Channels tab.

Open My games & apps and launch Microsoft Edge (install it from the Store if needed).

Type the address of your web player in the address bar.

Select Add playlist, choose Xtream Codes (or M3U), enter a playlist name, then your server URL, username and password, and select Add playlist.

Select the star to add the page to your Edge favourites, name it and select Done, so it’s one click away next time.

Connect the box to the TV by HDMI, plug in the power and connect it to your router by cable or Wi-Fi, then finish the setup wizard.

Open MyTVOnline 3, then Menu, Content Manager, Content Sources, and select Add Portal.

Enter a nickname and the portal URL exactly as your provider sent it. With MAC-ID activation, leave Login required off; if your provider gave you a username and password, turn it on and enter them.

If your provider activates by MAC address, send them the MAC-ID shown under ID on the Add Portal screen (on Z11 boxes it starts with 00:1E:B8), not the network MAC, then wait for activation.

Select Connect. Your channels and videos load once your provider has activated the box.

Connect the box to the TV by HDMI and to your router by Ethernet, then plug in the power.

Send your provider the MAC address from System settings, Device info, or from the label on the box.

Open Settings, then System settings, Servers, Portals.

Enter a name for Portal 1 and the portal URL exactly as your provider sent it, with no spaces, then select OK to save.

Go back to System settings and select Restart portal (confirm if asked). Your provider’s channel list loads once your service is active.

Connect the box, follow the setup prompts and install any update it offers.

Open Dreamlink Online (DOL2) and note the MAC address it shows. Send it to your provider.

Select + Edit Service, press OK to edit it and enter a service nickname.

Enter the service URL from your email, checking every character. With MAC activation, leave Certificate unchecked and the user fields blank.

Confirm with OK and let the service load. Channels, movies and the guide appear once your provider has activated the box.

Open the Market, select TVOnline, install it and open it.

Open Server Settings and note the MAC address in the top-right corner. Send it to your provider.

Select a server slot and press OK to edit it. Enter a nickname and the server URL from your email, with no spaces. With MAC activation, leave Use Credentials unchecked.

Select Connect and wait while the channels load.

If it won’t connect, open Settings from the home screen to check the network, then check the server URL and MAC activation with your provider.
